LTFL Background and Ownership History

LTFL obtained this truly outstanding “previously pampered” Breitling Navitimer B01 Chronograph 46 from a pilot who bought it new from a Breitling AD. The gent rarely wore this exceptional timepiece, as confirmed by its impeccable condition. LTFL does not yet have the box and papers for this watch; photos will be added once they are received. The Breitling is sold w/ LTFL’s full year warranty, which covers factory defects of the movement, case, strap, and deployant clasp.

Heritage and Brand Origins

Breitling is a Swiss watch manufacturer that was established by first-generation watchmaking engineer Leon Breitling in 1884. For decades, child & grandchild were at the helm of this brand that is known for its durability, design, & capability. Breitlings were created w/ aviation functionality in mind and that tradition of aeronautical influence continues to this day. In 1952, Grandson Willie Breitling created a Chonograph w/ a slide rule incorporated into the inner circle of the bezel. In 1954, the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association deemed it as the AOPA’s official timepiece-the “navigation timer”, or “Navitimer.” The company is currently under the ownership of the Partners Group.
