Bucherer Two-Tone Rectangular Tank-Style Unisex Watch – Stainless Steel & Gold, Quartz, Box, Mint Condition

LTFL Background and Ownership History

LTFL acquired this one-owner, mint unisex Bucherer rectangular “Tank-style” stainless steel and gold-tone watch from the gent who purchased it in Europe 20+ years ago. The watch is hard to distinguish from a new timepiece that is on display in a case. It is about as close as you can get to a new old stock (”NOS”) watch as there is. I would in good conscience categorize the Bucherer as a “dresser Queen”-the gent purchased it and placed it in his dresser, having worn it rarely, if ever. It is sold with LTFL’s full year warranty.

Heritage and Brand Origins

Bucherer watch & jewelry retailers were founded in 1888 by Carl F. Bucherer and his wife, Louise. Stores originated in Europe but have grown significantly, including a strong North American presence. The U.S. growth has been fueled by their acquisition of Tourneau in 2018, and Rolex’ acquisition in 2024. Interestingly, watches branded as “Carl F. Bucherer” were Bucherer’s in-house line, even though they carried several other brands. The “Carl F. Bucherer” line was discontinued when Rolex acquired Bucherer retail stores.
